General Project Description
This project involves comprehensive mechanical repairs at the City of Hanford's swimming facilities, "The Plunge," located at 415 Ford Street, Hanford, CA. The scope includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for the removal of existing systems and the installation of new ones. Key tasks include replacing the existing slide pool filtration system with a new EPD filtration system, installing an equivalent Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) circulation pump to replace the existing Pentair VFD pump, and upgrading the BECS chemical monitoring system with a new BECSys3 chemistry controller and monitoring system, including calibration. The project also encompasses system integration, testing, and other general requirements outlined in the Special Provisions. The contractor is required to have appropriate electrical and mechanical credentials. The entire project must be completed by April 2026, adhering to industry standards and all applicable City, State, and Federal requirements.
