General Project Description
The City of Hawthorne is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms for operations, maintenance, and management (O&M) services for its municipal potable water system and associated groundwater. The scope includes day-to-day operations of treatment and distribution facilities, preventative/corrective maintenance, 24/7/365 emergency response, water quality monitoring and compliance, SCADA and controls oversight, regulatory and compliance management with State Water Resources Control Board requirements, sampling, reporting, recordkeeping, audit readiness, staffing and workforce development for certified operators, administrative support including meter reading, billing system management, customer service, data management, coordination with City finance staff, capital improvement and asset management support, and preferred in-house construction and field services.
