General Project Description

The City of Hayward is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced professional landscaping contractors for on-call tree trimming, removal, and replacement services at the Hayward Executive Airport and other properties within the city. The contract will run for a three-year term on an hourly rate basis and includes a 24-48 hour emergency response requirement. A key component of the project involves the multi-phase removal of 13 redwood trees at 1202 W. Winton Avenue and their replacement with 24-inch box trees, along with the installation or repair of associated irrigation systems. The scope also includes routine tree trimming, stump grinding, debris hauling, recycling, and safe disposal of non-recyclable materials, adhering to ISA standards and California laws.
