General Project Description
The City of Hemet is seeking a qualified Contractor for senior home repair projects, specifically for the "LYBARGER" property. This particular project involves comprehensive roofing work, including the installation of a new metal retrofit roof over the existing configuration. The scope includes cleaning the existing deck, applying sealant to all seams, installing new 2x4 wood nailers around the perimeter, cutting and fitting 2-inch thick, R-10 rigid foam insulation boards (Color: White) across the entire roof deck, and securing new metal roof panels according to manufacturer instructions using approved, corrosion-resistant fasteners while ensuring proper alignment, overlap, and sealing of penetrations. The project also requires a final clean-up of all ground exterior debris from the job site. All work must comply with City building, planning, and public works codes, the 2025 Residential Housing Codes, and be completed with journeyman-level craftsmanship.
