General Project Description
The City of Hemet is seeking a qualified contractor for senior home repair projects under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Housing Program, specifically for the "MONZON" project located at 1036 Santa Maria, Hemet, CA 92543. The work involves a comprehensive roofing replacement and the installation of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The roofing scope includes demolition of existing materials, inspection and repair of roof decking, installation of new #30 LB felt, a 30-year dimensional Class A fire-rated composition shingle roof, new drip edge, termination bars, flashing, and proper attic ventilation. Final cleanup after roofing work is also required. Additionally, the contractor will install smoke detectors in each bedroom and a smoke/carbon combination device in the hallway.
