Hesperia City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, 2025 DECEMBER ADVERSE WEATHER EMERGENCY ROAD REPAIRS #2, identified under Solicitation ID: RFB 2025-26-005. Work is to be performed near 9700 Seventh Ave, Hesperia, CA 92345, USA in San Bernardino County.

General Project Description

This emergency project involves furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for road repairs necessitated by recent storm events. The comprehensive scope includes earthwork, grading, material export and/or import, placement of various materials, removal and proper disposal of damaged storm drain boxes and other deleterious materials, sewer line inspection, restoration of roadway and shoulder grades, furnishing and installing crushed aggregate base (CAB), and asphalt concrete (AC) pavement. The project also encompasses mobilization, traffic control, construction surveying, dust control measures, cleaning catch basins, protection of existing utilities and site features, site cleanup, and various appurtenant work.

  • Quantity: -  Unit: -  Work Item: Trench paving for lateral trenches. Specifications: For connections, water services laterals, air release assemblies, per Supplemental Technical Provisions.
  • Quantity: -  Unit: -  Work Item: Apply pre-emergence herbicide. Specifications: "Round Up" or approved equal, manufactured by Monsanto, with good agitation and even coverage, mixed with purple dye.
  • Quantity: -  Unit: -  Work Item: Pavement striping and marker restoration. Specifications: Installed in kind for any damaged pavement striping or markers.
  • Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Traffic Control and Safety. Specifications: Provide adequate and continuous traffic control, signage, barricades, cones, flashers, and delineators, per CA-MUTCD and City standards, paid on a Lump Sum basis.
  • Quantity: -  Unit: -  Work Item: Dust Control. Specifications: Watering, street sweeping, and dust palliative application as directed by the Engineer, per Section 7-8.2 of Standard Specifications.

Specifications: Protect trees, existing structures, tree grates, guards, trench drains, fences, roads, sidewalks, paving, curbs, gutters, and above-grade utilities; repair/replace any damaged items at contractor expense.
  • Quantity: -  Unit: LS  Work Item: Construction Surveying and Staking. Specifications: Utilize a registered Civil Engineer or Land Surveyor to layout work, set grades, lines, levels, positions, and establish monuments; includes preparing corner records; paid on a Lump Sum basis.
