Hillsborough Town is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, SKYFARM 3 TANK NO. 2 INTERIOR RECOATING, identified under Solicitation ID: 520. Work is to be performed near Skyline Blvd, Hillsborough, CA, USA in San Mateo County.
General Project Description
This project involves the complete removal and replacement of the existing interior coating on a 700,000-gallon welded steel potable water tank. The scope includes dry sandblasting and recoating of the interior ceiling plates, rafters, dollar plate, center column, and the entire shell plate, with minor steel repair as needed. Surface preparation must meet SSPC-SP10 (near-white metal blast cleaning). The contractor is responsible for all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, and utilities, as well as coordination with utility companies, residents, and emergency services; protection of existing facilities; pre-construction documentation; permit acquisition; implementing safety measures; daily general housekeeping; proper curing of the tank; disinfection; water quality testing; and returning the tank to service.
