General Project Description

The City of Hollister is seeking environmental consulting services for a residential development project at 851 Sunnyslope Road (APN 057-070-064). The project involves subdividing an 8.28-acre parcel into 49 single-family residential lots with 13 affordable Accessory Dwelling Units, including a mixture of single-story and two-story homes (3-6 bedrooms), a 0.63-acre community park with landscaping and play equipment, and new internal roadways. The consultant will be responsible for preparing an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) or an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and associated technical studies. Additional work includes preparing responses to public comments on environmental documents, attending public hearings, and conducting a Transportation Impact Analysis (including Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) and Level of Service (LOS) analyses), and assessing air quality impacts.
