General Project Description

The Humboldt County Department of Public Works is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from experienced and qualified consulting firms to provide on-call land surveying and project management services. These services are intended for various state and federally funded roadway and bridge construction projects. The successful consultant will be awarded a master consultant agreement for a term of three to five years, with specific work assignments issued via Task Orders. The scope of work includes boundary, topographic, right-of-way, aerial base mapping, and construction staking services, along with project management support such as responding to contractor questions during the bid process and preparing addendums.

Quantity: - Unit: - Work Item: Aerial base mapping services, Specifications: Preparing electronic base mapping files in Autodesk, AutoCAD, Civil 3D 2019 or better format, containing three-dimensional terrain models, used to create contours, control points, topographic points, contour and other relevant information.
Quantity: - Unit: - Work Item: Construction staking services, Specifications: Conducting project specific construction staking and preparing staking notes and/or cut sheets from project plans and as-built surveys.
Quantity: - Unit: - Work Item: Project Management Services, Specifications: Responding to potential contractors regarding questions that arise during the construction bid process and preparing addendums to bid-related documents.
