Indian Health Service/California Area Office is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Historic Property Inventory (H PI) for the Iipay Nation Transfer Station & Chlorination Station, identified under Solicitation ID: EDO-272-J26. Work is to be performed near California St, West Sacramento, CA 95605, USA in Yolo County.
General Project Description
This Request for Quotations (RFQ) is for a Historic Property Inventory (HPI) to assess the potential impacts of a proposed federal undertaking by the Indian Health Service (IHS) to improve an existing solid waste transfer station and construct a new chlorination station for the Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel. The HPI service includes conducting archival/literature searches, sensitivity assessments, pedestrian field investigations with systematic recording and analysis of identified historic properties/sites, and preparing a comprehensive Historic Property Inventory Technical Report (HPITR) in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. The underlying physical construction project involves significant site work such as grading up to 1.7 acres and excavation up to 0.75 acre for buildings, foundations, concrete pads, structural canopies, a drive-up ramp, and retaining walls. It also includes approximately 200 ft of water main, 200 ft of buried electrical conduit, 1,600 LF of perimeter security fencing, geotechnical field work (10 test points up to 10 ft deep), and surfacing approximately 1 acre with gravel, asphalt, or other improved driving surfaces. The chlorination station will feature a foundation up to 8ft x 8ft, equipment for chlorination, controls, and above-ground piping, with excavation for the structure and concrete apron up to 16ft x 16ft.
