General Project Description
The City of Indian Wells is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced landscape contractors for the "Indian Wells Highway 111 Palm Tree Project". The project involves the removal and replacement of existing date palm trees located on the North and South parkways of Highway 111, between Eldorado Drive and Mountain Cove. The scope includes traffic control, excavation and removal of palm trees and root balls, stump grinding for specific palms, relocation of some palms, and installation of new Phoenix dactylifera "Deglet Noor" date palms with specified height requirements and a one-year warranty. Existing utilities will be relocated by the City. The project has a completion target of 45 working days from the Notice to Proceed.
