Industry City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Kella Avenue and Rooks Road Storm Drain and Pavement Rehabilitation, identified under Solicitation ID: 501. Work is to be performed near 255 N Hacienda Blvd, City of Industry, CA 91744, USA in Los Angeles County.

General Project Description

This project involves the rehabilitation of storm drains and pavements on Kella Avenue and Rooks Road within the City of Industry, California. The scope includes mobilization, traffic control, storm water pollution prevention plan implementation, sawcut and removal of existing asphalt concrete pavement, repair and replacement of underlying PCC pavement, sawcut and removal of existing PCC curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, and curb ramps. It also entails adjusting manhole and utility covers to finished grade, modifying irrigation facilities, constructing high stability asphalt concrete and asphalt concrete base course, crushed aggregate base, PCC curb and gutter, sidewalks, obstruction flares, local depressions, and driveways. Furthermore, the project includes reconstructing PCC curb ramps, installing pavement markers, markings, traffic striping, traffic signal loop detectors, adjusting survey monument handhole covers, and constructing catch basins, RCP (reinforced concrete pipe), and junction/manhole structures. Salvaging asphalt and concrete materials for recycling and disposal of solid waste are also key components of the work.
