General Project Description

This project involves comprehensive upgrades to the existing audio, video, and lighting systems at the Grand Arena. The scope includes furnishing and installing new audio/video (A/V) equipment, data racks, and speakers throughout the arena and at Barns. It also requires the replacement of existing video displays with four (4) new displays inside and four (4) outside the arena. Lighting improvements include removing existing High Intensity Discharge (HID) fixtures and replacing them with energy-efficient white and color-changing LEDs, improved emergency lighting, and exterior lights. The work further encompasses the installation of power conduits/cables for new 10-ton HVAC, isolation transformers for A/V equipment, new 10-ton HVAC units, 5-fan coils, and 6-14' diameter ceiling fans. Various IT and telecommunication upgrades, electronic safety and security systems (surveillance, intrusion detection, access control) at Grand Arena, Cowboy, and Patio Café are also part of the project, alongside the replacement of doors with access control compatible hardware, connection of the electrical system to a backup generator, and other related improvements shown on plans.
