Inglewood Unified School District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Districtwide Roof Restorations Procurement, identified under Solicitation ID: 26.08. General Project Description
This project, "Districtwide Roof Restorations," encompasses roof restoration and replacement across multiple facilities within the Inglewood Unified School District, specifically Hudnall ES (2-story bldgs), Referee Locker Room Bldg., and City Honors (including the Theater Building). The work involves implementing fluid-applied liquid membrane systems and SBS modified bituminous membrane roofing. Key aspects include comprehensive surface preparation (e.g., powerwashing, mastic/blister removal, repair of splits/holes, damaged decking replacement), installation of various roofing layers (e.g., Densdeckprime coverboard, modified bitumen base/cap sheets, Cool Sil coatings, silicon coatings with embedded minerals), and detailed flashing work for walls, penetrations, and equipment. Additionally, drain system improvements (caulking, sumping, cover replacement) and the installation of custom sheet metal components like coping caps, edge metal, and counterflashing are required. The contractor is responsible for all labor, equipment, and miscellaneous materials, with some materials being owner-furnished. Manufacturer warranties (10-30 years) and a contractor's labor warranty (5 years) are mandatory.
