Inland Empire Utilities Agency is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Chlorine Contact Basin Cleaning and Inspection, and Recycled Water (RW) Wet Well Inspection Services, identified under Solicitation ID: IFB-JV-25-019. Work is to be performed near 6075 Kimball Ave, Chino, CA 91710, USA in San Bernardino County.
General Project Description
The project involves providing cleaning and inspection services for Chlorine Contact Basins (CCBs) at Regional Plant No. 1 (RP-1) and Recycled Water (RW) wet wells at RP-1, Carbon Canyon Water Reclamation Facility (CCWRF), and Regional Plant No. 5 (RP-5). The scope includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to clean, remove, and dispose of sediment, sludge, and algae from the CCBs using underwater methods while the basins remain in service. Contractors must identify and report structural defects. Inspection services for RW wet wells will assess structural condition, sediment accumulation, and overall operational integrity, providing high-resolution underwater video documentation and detailed reports. Cleaning of RW wet wells is an additive item, contingent on inspection findings. All activities must comply with safety regulations, confined space entry requirements, and industry best practices.
