General Project Description

This project involves the construction of backbone infrastructure improvements for the Great Park Framework Plan in the City of Irvine, County of Orange, at Great Park Blvd. and Skyhawk. The scope includes but is not limited to the installation of domestic and recycled water mains, services, and appurtenances; sewer mains, laterals, and appurtenances; storm drain mains, junction and diversion structures, laterals, catch basins, inlets, and appurtenances; along with the construction of curbs, gutters, AC pavement, PCC pavement, curb ramps, driveways, sidewalks, bicycle paths, street lighting systems, traffic signage and striping, and related removals and replacements of curbs and pavements. Additional work includes grading and installation of "dry" utility underground vaults and conduits, plus other unspecified items necessary for project completion. The project is expected to take 390 working days to complete.
