Irvine City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Great Park Northern Sector Demolition Phase 2, identified under Solicitation ID: CIP 372417. Work is to be performed near 1 Civic Center Plaza, Irvine, CA 92606, USA in Orange County.
General Project Description
This project involves the comprehensive demolition and site preparation for Phase 2 of the Great Park Northern Sector. The scope includes clearing and grubbing, soil excavation, soil remediation, and disposal of impacted soils (containing lead, arsenic, total petroleum hydrocarbons, and jet fuel), removal of various structures such as building slabs, foundations, retaining walls, asphalt and concrete pavements, concrete structures, underground and above-ground utilities (e.g., manholes, vaults, pipes, light pole bases), fencing, bollards, and trees. The work also entails backfilling voids with non-contaminated soil, processing removed asphalt and concrete to specified dimensions, stockpiling processed materials, relocating stockpiles, and installing perimeter fencing. Compliance with SCAQMD procedures, a construction schedule, stormwater pollution prevention (SWPPP), and traffic control are also required.
