General Project Description
This project involves the exterior painting of the Sun Empire Elementary School buildings in Kerman, CA. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary for thorough preparation, sanding, priming, and painting of all fascia boards. A key component is the inspection, removal, and replacement of any rotted or deteriorated fascia boards. All work must comply with EPA RRP Rule, California Department of Public Health lead-safe practices, Cal/OSHA Lead in Construction Standard, and VOC limits for architectural coatings. Work will be performed during non-school hours (weekends or summer/recess) to minimize disruption, with strict adherence to safety protocols for children and staff, including signage, barriers, containment, and daily cleanup using HEPA vacuums. The project also requires storm water pollution prevention measures. The Contractor must be EPA RRP-certified and employ CDPH-certified Lead Supervisor(s).
