General Project Description

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) seeks to establish a firm, fixed-price term contract for weekly lawn maintenance services. The scope includes maintaining common areas at various Housing Authority properties (offices, playgrounds, community properties) and individual residence areas at Terra Vista, all within Kern County, California. Services encompass mowing, edging, grass trimming removal, flower bed maintenance (weeding, trash removal), tree branch trimming (minimum 6' height), bush/shrub trimming, weed control in lawns/beds/sidewalks/common areas, quarterly fertilizer application, blowing off hard surfaces, and planting winter rye for coverage. Contractors are required to supply all necessary labor, equipment, and materials and are responsible for advising the Housing Authority of any sprinkler system damage, with contractor-caused damage requiring repair by the contractor.
