General Project Description

This project involves the replacement of the inbound gatehouse scale at the Bakersfield Metropolitan (Bena) Sanitary Landfill. The scope includes providing all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals to remove the existing mechanical cement pit truck scale, haul it to a County-operated landfill, and install a new heavy-duty steel deck truck scale. Associated work includes pouring new footings or piers, repairing coping and asphalt/concrete edging, and completing all required testing and calibration of the new and existing indicators.
