General Project Description

The project involves the replacement of the inbound gatehouse scale at the Bakersfield Metropolitan (Bena) Sanitary Landfill, Gatehouse #4. The scope includes providing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment to remove the existing mechanical cement pit truck scale, pour new footings/piers as needed, repair coping and asphalt/concrete edging, install a new heavy-duty steel deck truck scale (Avery Weigh-Tronix Bridgemont -HD), integrate new scale within existing pit, complete all testing and calibration of new and existing indicators, and acquire all necessary building permits.
