La Quinta City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, ON-CALL HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) MAINTENANCE SERVICES, identified under Solicitation ID: -. Work is to be performed near 78-495 Calle Tampico, La Quinta, CA 92253, USA in Riverside County.

General Project Description

The City of La Quinta seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide On-Call Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Maintenance services. This includes comprehensive HVAC controls and mechanical replacement and repair services on an as-needed basis across various City facilities such as City Hall, Library, Wellness Center, Museum, Fire Stations, Silver Rock Resort, Park Buildings, X-Park building, Public Works building, and the Old Lumber Yard. The scope encompasses regularly scheduled maintenance, repair, and replacement of various HVAC systems (chiller units, condensing units, air handling units, fan coil units, boilers, packaged units, mini splits, split system heat pumps, evaporative coolers). Specific tasks involve inspection, preventative maintenance, replacement of components (contactors, fan motors, capacitors, fuses, belts), filter replacement, coil washing, inspection/lubrication/replacement of air handler motors/pulleys/belts, and condensation drain cleaning. The contractor must be a licensed C20 HVAC Contractor with specific certifications (ASHRAE, NATE, EPA, Career Controls Encompass Systems) and unit repair certifications (Carrier, York, Tempmaster, Data Air, Trane). Emergency response within two hours is required.
