General Project Description

The City of Lake Forest is seeking a consultant to provide hourly on-call maintenance and support services for its Audio Visual (AV) and Low Voltage systems across multiple facilities for a one-year term. Services include troubleshooting, repair, software and firmware updates, installation support, and testing of low voltage cabling and equipment. This involves operational, technical, and system support initiated via Service Requests (SRs), which may include assigning qualified personnel (Technician, Engineer, Programmer) and a Project Manager. The scope also mandates bi-annual functional inspections of AV equipment, including firmware updates, cabinet inspections, system backups, and checks of physical backbone conditions across various City buildings. Excluded from the scope are cable broadcast equipment ("PEG" Channel), video conferencing equipment, performing arts stage lighting, and AM emergency broadcast radio systems.
