General Project Description

The City of Lake Forest is seeking Professional Consulting Design Services for the Neighborhood Park Renovations - Cavanaugh Park project. The scope includes landscape architecture, civil and grading design, lighting, playground and exercise equipment, park amenities, and hardscape design. The services encompass project management, environmental clearance (CEQA), records research, topographic and boundary surveys, geotechnical investigation, hydrology and hydraulics reports, stormwater mitigation (WQMP, LID, BMPs), drainage design, preliminary design/design development, preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E), bid support, and design support during construction. The project also involves the design for site demolition of existing improvements like basketball courts, site walls, hardscape, landscape, lighting, play equipment, and irrigation systems, as well as new berm excavation and site grading, new resilient rubber play surfaces, various playground areas, fitness areas, paved walkways, decomposed granite paths, picnic areas, open lawns, shrubs, trees, comprehensive irrigation, ADA accessibility, energy efficiency, water use efficiency, and low maintenance features.
