General Project Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive remote Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS) for the Lennox School District. The selected partner will proactively monitor, manage, and maintain the district's existing network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points, to ensure maximum uptime, security, and performance for students and staff across seven school/district office buildings. The scope includes configuration management, backups, patch and firmware updates, ongoing performance tuning, network security administration (firewall rules, VPN access), Wi-Fi environment optimization, and a dedicated technical helpdesk with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The vendor will also provide monthly performance reports and participate in bi-monthly status meetings. The RFP specifically states that no leasing or purchase of new equipment is included; services are for existing equipment support and maintenance.
