General Project Description

The City of Lincoln Engineering Department is seeking proposals for engineering design services for the Ferrari Ranch Road Ramp Metering Project (CIP 650). The project entails the installation of a new ramp metering system on the on-ramp to southbound SR-65 at Ferrari Ranch Road, including the design of a new metering system, streetlight, and traffic signage, as well as the design for removal and restriping from Ferrari Ranch Road to the new traffic meter. The consultant will be responsible for project management, preliminary design engineering (site investigation, data collection, records research, utility coordination, project surveying, mapping, control, and potholing), final design (plans, specifications, and cost estimates), Caltrans coordination, bidding support, construction support (reviewing submittals and RFIs), and project closeout (as-built drawings).
