General Project Description

This project involves the interior renovation of two science classrooms at East Avenue Middle School. The scope of work includes the demolition of existing casework islands and peninsulas, modifications to existing epoxy counters, minor abatement and disposal of asbestos-containing floor tile and black mastic, disturbance and abatement of lead-containing paint and other lead-coated materials, capping existing utilities below the new floor finish, replacement of new floor finishes, and preparation of walls for new paint.
