Unofficial Notice of Invitation to Bid (NIB)

Lodi City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, 2025 Hale Park Court Improvements, identified under Solicitation ID: 25-22. Work is to be performed near 208 Locust St, Lodi, CA 95240, USA in San Joaquin County.

General Project Description

This project involves improvements to the Hale Park Court, including resurfacing approximately 18,000 square feet of court surface with a new textured, single-colored acrylic surfacing system and applying new textured game lines. It also includes modifying existing ten-foot high chain link fencing to a six-foot height to install new fence fabric, along with other incidental work, and furnishing/installing one premier Pickleball Net System. The scope encompasses mobilization, coordination, temporary facilities, demolition, clean-up, excavation, grading, earthwork, backfill, compaction, landscape/irrigation repair, concrete flatwork repair, and sports equipment installation.

Specifications: Resurface approximately 18,000 SF of court surface with a new textured, single colored acrylic surfacing system; apply new textured game lines; furnish and install one premier Pickleball Net System (Douglas Sports, or equal, including Premier RD Posts (Green), 3" Corresponding Ground Sleeve, 36" x 22’9” Net, Deluxe Adjustable Center Strap (ACS), Center Pipe Anchor); mobilize, coordinate, provide temporary facilities (dust control, water pollution prevention), perform demolition, clean-up, excavation/fill, minor grading, earthwork, backfill, proper spoil disposal, and compaction as per Special Provisions; repair landscape/irrigation; repair concrete flatwork; install sports equipment. Includes professional work for site visit and consultation with sport surface manufacturer to determine acid etching compatibility.
  • Quantity: 1  Unit: LS  Work Item: Fencing (W-Beam Posts Remain). Specifications: Modify existing chain link fencing from 10 feet to 6 feet in height, including installing new fence fabric as shown on the Base Bid-Fencing Plan, Sheet C2.
  • Quantity: 1  Unit: LS  Work Item: Allowance for Authorized Additional Work. Specifications: For authorized additional work, a total of $10,000 allowance is provided.
  • Quantity: 1  Unit: LS  Work Item: Acid Etching Adjustment.
  • Quantity: 1  Unit: LS  Work Item: Fencing (W-Beam Posts Replaced). Specifications: Modify existing chain link fencing from 10 feet to 6 feet in height, including installing new fence fabric as shown on the Alt Bid-Fencing Plan, Sheet C2.
