General Project Description
The City of Long Beach is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified professional engineering and street design consultants to provide as-needed planning, design, administration, and inspection services. The scope encompasses various disciplines including Street Design, Coastal Engineering, Environmental and Permitting Support Services, Stormwater & Drainage Facilities, Development Review, Plan Check Services, Peer Review of Plans, Bridges & Structures, Project Management, Staff Augmentation, Geotechnical & Pavement Engineering, Computer Mapping & Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and related support services. The objective is to support Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) and maintenance tasks aimed at rehabilitating streets, providing multimodal transportation facilities, improving water quality and stormwater drainage, rehabilitating waterfront structures, and maintaining City facilities.
