Long Beach City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Welding repairs and services, identified under Solicitation ID: ITB - FM-26-680. Work is to be performed near 411 W Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90802, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
The City of Long Beach is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide welding repairs and services. These services will primarily support work on refuse units and medium/heavy-duty regular/alternate fueled vehicles that cannot be completed by Fleet technicians due to safety, specialized equipment, or techniques. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision. Services may be performed at the contractor's location (shop work) or at various city locations (field settings). The contractor must be capable of welding and/or fabricating stainless, carbon steel, and/or aluminum.
