General Project Description

This project involves the renovation and improvement of the TID Radio & Asset Services Building, encompassing both office and warehouse spaces. The scope includes selective demolition, concrete work (ADA ramps, new door openings, patching), masonry infill, and the installation of structural and miscellaneous metals (structural steel, handrails, bollards). Interior work comprises HVAC revisions, wall units, specialized ductwork, plumbing systems including fixtures and sewer lateral inspection, new electrical service and switchgear, and a comprehensive building electrical system with controls and lighting. Finish work covers flooring (including patching), ceilings (ACT, hard lid, repairs), restroom partitions and accessories, casework (countertops, shelving), interior glass and mirrored glass installations, solar control glazing film, and painting with penetrating concrete floor sealer. Exterior improvements include new window and door installations (with framing and hardware), window shades, various signage, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, parking gates, parking lot asphalt resurfacing and striping, roofing, and a vehicle exhaust control system. The project also requires hazardous materials removal/abatement (asbestos, lead, universal wastes) and a pre-action fire sprinkler system. Compliance with project labor agreements and small business enterprise goals is mandated.
