General Project Description

This on-call contract provides emergency repair services for existing water and sewer mains throughout the City of Long Beach. The scope encompasses emergency repairs for water and sewer main breaks, including those at the Long Beach Groundwater Treatment Plant, sewer lift stations, and other LBUD facilities. The work also involves traffic control, video inspection, cleaning, and rehabilitation of sewers using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), repaving and slurry sealing of street trench sections post-construction, and draining existing mains and groundwater dewatering. Contractors must be prepared for typical projects as anticipated during the contract term.
