General Project Description

This project, titled '2026 Roofing Projects' for the Los Alamitos Unified School District, involves comprehensive modified membrane roofing work at various school sites including Los Alamitos High School and Hopkinson Elementary. The scope includes the complete removal and disposal of existing roofing systems, flashings, sheet metal, and accessories down to the structural deck, including asbestos abatement. New installations will comprise 2-ply modified bituminous, KEE hybrid, and KEE thermoplastic roof systems, along with associated components such as insulation, tapered crickets, vent caps, gutters, downspouts, coping, drain hardware, and walkpads. Work also includes minor structural repairs to decking, blocking, soffit, and fascia, patching of deck openings, and adherence to manufacturer-specific application guidelines and industry standards for a complete, warrantable system.
