Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Foshay Learning Center – Tile Recladding (BV) (PSA) (Rebid), identified under Solicitation ID: 2610027. Work is to be performed near 3751 S Harvard Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90018, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
This project involves the removal and replacement of all exterior tiles and substrate at Buildings A & B of the Foshay Learning Center. The scope includes specialized demolition to preserve the existing vapor barrier, installation of Redgard waterproofing, mortar bed, lath, plaster, control joints, expansion joints, and other metal trim. Additionally, flashing, parapet coping, bird deterrents, CCTVs, PA speakers, and exterior light fixtures will be removed and reinstalled. The installation requires fine tolerances for new porcelain tile and plaster systems to ensure an aesthetically acceptable and durable finish.
