General Project Description

This project involves lead-based paint hazard remediation and general construction services for multi-family residential dwellings under the HUD Lead-Hazard Reduction Program. The scope of work includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to address lead-based paint hazards in eligible low- and moderate-income households. Specific work involves wet-scraping loose, chipped, and peeling paint; filling and patching holes and cracks; wet-sanding finish surfaces; applying a coat of primer and two coats of finish paint or encapsulant. The project also requires removal and replacement of deteriorated components such as wood doors, door frames, window sills, window frames, fascia, eaves, beams, and garage doors. All work must be performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations governing Lead-Based Paint remediation practices, including HUD, EPA, and OSHA standards.
