General Project Description

This project involves providing single-family construction rehabilitation services under the Senior Grant Program. The scope includes home accessibility modifications and deferred maintenance repairs to improve mobility, functionality, and the health and safety of eligible senior citizens (62 years or older) residing in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. Work examples include wheelchair ramps, grab bars, widened doorways, non-slip floor coverings, tub-to-roll-in shower conversions, roofing, plumbing, electrical, and heating system repairs. Contractors are responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental, in accordance with the Statement of Work, including complying with EPA "Lead-Safe" certification and addressing asbestos and lead-based paint if required.
