General Project Description

The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for on-call geotechnical, geohazard, special inspection, and materials testing consultant services for various healthcare projects across Los Angeles County. The scope includes reviewing contract drawings and specifications, observing construction operations, participating in technical reviews and meetings, and submitting verified reports and test results according to Title 24, building codes, and HCAI programs. Services specifically cover areas like structural steel, concrete, masonry, welding, post-tensioning, shoring, fireproofing, hazardous materials, roofing/waterproofing, medical gas certifications, and soils testing.
