Madera City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF HOWARD RD & PINE ST, HOWARD RD, & YOSEMITE AVE/Q ST (TS-23), identified under Solicitation ID: TS-23. Work is to be performed near 428 E Yosemite Ave, Madera, CA 93638, USA in Madera County.
General Project Description
The project involves the modification of traffic signals at the intersections of Howard Road & Pine Street and Howard Road & Yosemite Avenue/Q Street. The work generally consists of furnishing and installing a hybrid video/radar detection camera system, 1C CPU with Advance Traffic Management Software, Currux Adaptive Signal Module, conduit installation, and cable installation in existing conduits. It also includes mobilization, a traffic control system, a water pollution control plan, and miscellaneous facilities and operations such as dewatering, maintaining access, public notifications, sign installation, erosion control, removal and relocation of sprinkler systems, turf/landscaping repair, and site cleanup. The project utilizes an AI-based traffic monitoring system (SCITSAI) for vehicle, pedestrian, and bicyclist detection, classification, and tracking.
