General Project Description

The City of Malibu is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the installation and integration of replacement audio-visual (A/V) and broadcast equipment in Malibu City Hall's Council Chambers, Multi-Purpose Room (MPR), and Senior Center. The project aims to replace end-of-life hardware and software, ensuring reliable functionality and accessibility for daily operations and hybrid public meetings. The scope includes replacing existing server racks, integrating new systems seamlessly with the City's IT network infrastructure, security protocols, building management systems, and communication platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom). The selected firm will manage procurement, installation, programming, testing, training, and provide ongoing support and detailed documentation, with an emphasis on ADA compliance for assistive listening devices and closed captioning.
