General Project Description

This project involves the construction of protective barrier netting at Mira Costa High School to safeguard pedestrians, cars, and audiences from softball/baseball fields. The scope of work includes the construction of cantilever steel netting support posts, installation of netting from post to post and attachment to existing nettings, and the use of substitute netting material with prior approval. The contractor is also responsible for protecting and restoring all impacted turf, grass, landscaping, hardscape, infrastructure, and building surfaces, as well as replacing any existing fencing removed during the work. Temporary fencing must be installed around the construction area to prevent access by students and the public.
