General Project Description

The City of Manhattan Beach is implementing the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project 602745-24 Cycle 4 ADA Curb Ramp Project to improve site-specific curb ramps to comply with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the latest Federal Standards. This is a federally-assisted construction project. The work involves installing new site-specific ADA compliant curb ramps, removing existing non-standard curb ramps, constructing new ADA compliant curb ramps with yellow truncated domes, installing hot-mix-asphalt slot paving, sidewalks, curb/gutter, cross gutter, and crosswalk upgrades (slurry with new striping), and re-establishing monuments for centerline - tie-related nails, tags, and tie-outs.
