General Project Description
The City of Menlo Park is seeking qualified contractors for on-call water and stormwater repair system services. The scope of work includes both planned (non-emergency) activities and emergency services, requiring 24/7 availability. Contractors will respond to incidents affecting public health, safety, and property damage. Specific tasks involve repairing water/stormwater main breaks and strikes, water/stormwater connection leaks, fire hydrant strikes, and broken water main valves. All work must comply with State Water Resources Control Board regulations, American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standards, San Mateo County Environmental Health requirements, Cal OSHA, San Mateo County Water Pollution Program (SMCWPPP) best management practices, and City of Menlo Park standards.
