General Project Description
The City of Menlo Park's Public Works Department actively seeks experienced and licensed contractors to provide on-call maintenance and repair services for its various facilities, buildings, and public infrastructure. This encompasses both planned and urgent tasks across locations such as City-owned buildings, parks, open spaces, playgrounds, dog parks, sports fields, tennis courts, parking plazas, sidewalks, pathways, traffic signals, and streetlights. The scope of work includes commercial general electrical service (troubleshooting, upgrades, lighting, backup power, streetlight repair), commercial locksmith services (locks, door/gate/fence hardware, keys), general deep cleaning and restoration (air duct, carpet, mold, water damage), SMARDT chiller preventative maintenance, general HVAC maintenance and repairs, burglar alarm notification systems maintenance, fire protection services (fire alarm systems, sprinkler inspection, component replacement), and commercial fire extinguisher services. Agreements will be on a time and materials basis, with individual agreements not exceeding $75,000 per year per contractor.
