General Project Description
The City of Merced is soliciting proposals for engineering design and construction management services for the proposed Municipal Water Supply Well Site #23. The project involves installing a new municipal water production well and approximately 16,500 feet of 16-inch watermain in the northeast portion of Merced. The consultant's scope includes obtaining permits, site surveying, site preparation, test borehole drilling, water sample analysis, preparation of reports, design of the municipal production well and pump station, design of well site infrastructure (landscaping, irrigation, walls, concrete bins, storage building, well building, driveway, access road), project bidding services (including pre-bid meetings and engineer's cost estimates for two construction phases), and construction management support.
