San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, KMD CONCRETE LOT REPLACEMENT, identified under Solicitation ID: -. Work is to be performed near 4630 Ruffner St, San Diego, CA 92111, USA in San Diego County.

General Project Description

The KMD Concrete Lot Replacement project involves the removal and replacement of damaged exterior concrete panels at the Kearny Mesa Division facility. The base bid encompasses the removal and replacement of approximately 10,600 square feet of concrete paving. An add/alternate work component includes the removal and replacement of approximately 2,200 square feet (ten panels) of concrete paving. The work also includes demolition, hauling, subgrade preparation, doweling, and concrete pavement installation. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for replacing all existing striping affected by the work using two coats of water-based paint to match the existing layout and dimensions. All work must conform to local regulations, the California Building Code, and other governing codes and ordinances, and occur during normal working hours (approximately 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM). Explicitly stated requirements include concrete cylinder break tests to confirm a minimum strength of 2,500 psi before proceeding to the next phase, waste disposal, and adherence to Best Management Practices (BMPs).
