General Project Description
The project aims to develop the ranch water distribution system to support the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District’s Conservation Grazing Program within the Driscoll Ranch area of La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve. The scope of work includes specifying and installing well pumps, a solar power array, and water distribution lines and associated connections to supply well water to the existing water storage and distribution system. Additional bid alternates include the installation of a 5,000-gallon water storage tank, replacement of stock troughs, and installation of galvanized steel fence enclosures at well and tank sites. The project involves trenching and excavation for water lines and installation of a wireless pump control system, followed by testing of the completed system. Environmental considerations such as erosion control and protected species are noted.
