General Project Description

This project involves comprehensive vegetation management across various sites within the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District's preserve network. The scope includes manual, mechanical, biological, cultural, and chemical (herbicide application) treatments targeting selected California Invasive Plant Council (Cal-IPC) listed species. The primary purpose is to provide ongoing invasive species weed control for conservation grazing lands and to help manage coastal grasslands and preserve biodiversity, while adhering to strict environmental, safety, and regulatory guidelines, including specific protocols for working in sensitive habitats and preventing disease spread.
