General Project Description
This project involves converting city-owned and maintained high pressure sodium (HPS), induction, and outdated light emitting diode (LED) streetlights to new smart LED streetlights. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the conversion of streetlight luminaires to LED, which includes conducting an inventory and streetlight audit, installing new LED fixtures (Acuity Brands Lighting Auto Connect series), coordinating connections with PG&E, testing electroliers, and ensuring safe recycling and proper disposal of removed luminaires according to the California Universal Waste Rule and State universal waste and hazardous waste requirements.
