General Project Description

This project involves the installation, repair, and testing of new cabling infrastructure, primarily focusing on Category 6A Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cabling and Low Voltage Enclosures for data networks. The scope includes installation of Panduit power and communication poles, network jacks (including Category 6 and 6A), and ensuring all installations meet EIA/TIA TSB-155, National Electrical Code (NEC) 2017 (or most recent), and ANSI/TIA-568.0-D and 568.1-D telecommunications cabling standards. All work must use new materials, be performed by qualified technicians, and adhere to a 6-foot separation requirement from main power panels and switchgear for UTP cabling. The project spans multiple school sites within the Modesto City Schools district.
