General Project Description

This project involves housing rehabilitation services under the City of Modesto's Community Development Division Department Housing Rehabilitation Program. The scope includes general repairs and improvements to residential properties, conforming to the 2022 California Building Codes and the Modesto Housing Rehabilitation Specification Manual. Work may include locating, exposing, and relocating water, sewer, or gas lines for room additions or detached structures, foundation work, rodent proofing, and adherence to Lead-Safe Work Practices for pre-1978 homes. The project emphasizes material conservation, resource efficiency, water efficiency, and indoor air quality by utilizing efficient framing techniques, moisture management, and VOC-compliant materials.
